Feat: Colors of the Day, Energy Updates, Recommendations, & How Being a High Achiever Dysregulated My Nervous System
Here’s what you’ll find in today’s mix of magic + musings:⚡️ Energetic Color of the Day Chart, 🌕 Week of Oct 6 Energy Update, 💁♀️ a Peek inside Christina’s World, & 💕What I’m loving right now
⚡️ Energetic Color of the Day:
Each day carries its own frequency and colors act like amplifiers for that energy. Wearing, carrying, or surrounding yourself with the day’s color helps you align more fully with its vibe. Think of it as dressing in sync with the universe!
Week of Oct 6 Energy Update:
✨ The eclipse doorway is still open. We’re now standing in the in-between, where the old story has cracked and the new one is whispering, but hasn’t fully arrived.
♎ This week’s energy is ruled by Libra, asking us to notice the balance points in our lives. What feels heavy, what feels light? What’s yours to carry and what’s ready to be put down?
You may feel stretched between extremes, craving harmony yet confronting the places where things feel out of alignment. The invitation is not to rush into fixing, but to soften into awareness. When you notice imbalance without judgment, it naturally begins to recalibrate.
🌬 Venus, ruler of Libra, is reminding us that peace starts within. The more you tend to your inner world (e.g. your body, your self-talk, your breath) the more the outer shifts will follow.
Think of this as 5D to 3D. The shifts you make internally (aka in the 5D), eventually ripple outward until the 3D catches up.
💫This week is less about dramatic action and more about tending to the scales of your own heart. Trust that clarity is on its way. Right now, presence is the bridge.
🔮 Need help? Try The Next Best Thought Practice from Abraham-Hicks:
Notice how you feel. Pause and check-in. What’s coming up? Are you feeling anxious, judgemental, overwhelmed, or just low-energy? Presence starts with awareness.
Acknowledge the thought behind the feeling. Every feeling comes from a thought. Often we unconsciously push these thoughts away to protect ourselves, but that only makes them louder. For example: “I’ll never get this done.”
Reach for a slightly better-feeling thought. You’re not expected to jump from despair to joy, because it’s too far and your conscious mind won’t believe it. Instead, considering softening the thought by just one degree. From “I’ll never get this done” to “I can do one small thing right now.”
Keep reaching. Each better feeling thought shifts your energy away from negative feelings. Over time you will move from powerlessness, to hope, hope to relief, relief to possibility, and possibility to alignment!
Presence is the bridge. The point isn’t to fix everything, it’s to return to this moment and choose a thought that feels just a little lighter than the last.
🫶 This is a mindfulness tool because it interrupts autopilot thinking and brings you into conscious choice. You’re no longer swept away by spiraling thoughts, because you’re guiding them one step at a time and taking the power back!
💁♀️ Personal Update:
Over the past 3 months I’ve come to learn just how dysregulated my nervous system actually is. Spending a majority of my life vacillating between fight, flight, freeze, and fawn.
It’s like a bad infomercial: Do you suffer avoidant behaviors or struggle to set boundaries? Have trouble focusing, but find ways to constantly stay busy? Do you disassociate from your body or surroundings? Have trouble trusting yourself or others? Do you find it difficult to relax or turn off the mind? Are you hyper aware of other’s moods and adjust yourself to keep the peace? If so, your nervous system is fucked. [Camera pans to a woman (ahem me) looking shocked, horrified, and confused.] Call today!
I didn’t even know I had a problem. I wasn’t aware of how uncomfortable I actually was ALL THE TIME. As a naturally optimistic person, I just put on a happy face and kept going. Laughing off comments on how much I could get done: “I’m like a shark, if I stop moving I’ll die”. I thought I was just an overachiever. Sure, one who burned out more often than I’d like, yes, but also someone who could do so much with so little. All while donning a perfect smiling and winning attitude.
No girl, that’s not normal.
It’s no wonder I feel like I only have two speeds, little psycho or potato. I’m doing the most all the time, to avoid how my body’s actually feeling, only to crash and burn once the tank is empty. Then I’d wake up and do it all again the next day, until I found myself sick and forced into stillness. It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you’re so disconnected from yourself. But how much of that stuff actually needed to get done and how much was busy work? I’d say 40/60.
When we’re constantly moving, we’re not present. And when we’re not present, we’re not tuned into our body or mind. For the longest time, I didn’t know what the hell was going on in there. I was so afraid to see myself for who I really was that I presented as the person everyone wanted me to be. And I was tired. It’s exhausting trying to live up to the expectations of other people’s opinions.
pres·ent | /ˈpreznt/ | adjective
1. in a particular place.
2. existing or occurring now.
By this point I’d been living in the fear of stepping into my authentic self for almost 30 years. Constantly criticized and reprimanded for aspects of my personality that didn’t fit the mold of ‘how a lady should act’. Suppressing my thoughts, feelings, and opinions in an attempt to appease and potentially gain the love and acceptance of my parents. Trying so hard to be perfect.
per·fect | adjective\ /ˈpərfək(t)/
1. having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be.
2. absolute; complete (used for emphasis).
I couldn’t do. I could never be perfect, because we’re not meant to pretend to be perfect. Perfection lives in the authenticity of who we are. Little kids are so good at this. They aren’t trying to change their personalities. Children just are. Taking pride in all aspects of self, like the art they create or the weird outfits they put together. Have you ever seen a kid put on makeup or chop their own hair? It’s almost always followed by a big grin and praise for a job well done.
au·then·tic | /ôˈTHen(t)ik/ | adjective
of undisputed origin; genuine.
It wasn’t until I started to regulate my nervous system that I found permission to fully stepping into my own authenticity. No more playing pretend, no more hiding, no more fear of judgment or criticism from people whose opinions don’t matter. Because the only opinion that matters in any of this is the one we hold of ourselves.
This year I finally gave myself a permission slip to be happy and lead with authenticity. Now when I ask myself: Am I happy with the person I am today? Am I happy with how I’m showing up in the world? Am I moving in the authenticity of who I am? Am I being honest and true to myself? Do I love myself more than anyone will ever love me? The answer is an easy yes.
The world needs you. Not the perfect version of you, but the real you. If we all stood in the authenticity of who we truly are, in ourselves and our power, without any fluff or fear or judgement, we would be unstoppable. But until then, this is a push, a nudge, maybe even a shove in the right direction. There’s nothing to fear. It’s all made up in your head. It’s time to trust fall into the Universe!
Now my life is full of happy surprises and synchronicities. Like pulling the I’m Sorry card, which speaks directly to how I feel towards my parents’ judgement.: acknowledging where harm has been done and choosing to unwind those patterns. 💗

What your soul wants you to know: The I’m Sorry card is a call to soften our defenses and look beyond right and wrong. True unity begins when we face the shadows (our own, our ancestors’, and the collective) with honesty and compassion. This isn’t about blame, but about acknowledging where harm has been done and choosing to unwind those patterns. When we say “I’m sorry” with an open heart, we create space for forgiveness, healing, and the deeper connection our souls have always longed for.
The action you’re being guided to take: The You Got the Love card reminds us that true connection starts with self-love and healthy boundaries. Hadarian energy carries the gift of unconditional love, but without balance, it can slip into codependency or self-loss. This card invites you to review your relationships with honesty: notice where you give more than you receive, or where you feel anxious, unsafe, or unable to fully be yourself. The lesson is clear, the love you’ve been seeking is already within you. By honoring that truth and protecting your energy with clear boundaries, you create space for relationships that are supportive, grounded, and truly nourishing.
